Here we are from 8/21/25 - 11/30/25 -- Our travels from Sturgis, South Dakota through about 8 states to Palm Harbor, Florida.
One of several states we'd enter or pass through today, 8/31/25 |
Our motorcycle trailer had a SERIOUSLY bent frame. At the hitch. We had it repaired once for about $1,600. Not twice. The first one was only about a month ago. We'll have to replace the entire trailer. |
One more look at the bent trailer hitch. The place where we would get the new one was willing to take the old one. For free. We were elated for that, as getting rid of it was proving to be a challenge. |
Ooh, there's a look at the new one. Still on the buying lot, 9/6/25. |
The pool at Red Oak Resort, our stay in Camdenton, Missouri. This one is Saturday, 9/6/25. |
Beautiful moonlit night, 9/10/25 in Camdenton, Missouri. |
An overhead look at all of the "Lakes of the Ozarks". I got this picture online - Not one I took myself! |
One of several at the Harley-Davidson dealership in Lake Ozark. It's Thursday, 9/4/25. |
Ooh, we got new pipes! Louder! |
Another at the Harley-Davidson dealership in Lake Ozark. |
Another at the Harley-Davidson dealership in Lake Ozark. |
Another at the Harley-Davidson dealership in Lake Ozark. Nice Trike!! |
Pretty funny display at the tattoo place we visited In Ozark City after meeting Leo in Sturgis last month. |
 Funny. |
Bagnell Dam created all of the Lakes of the Ozarks. In 1931. Just look at that complex of waterways in the entire reservoir a couple of pictures ago! |
I rode out to the dam - I couldn't get very close to the actual structure, so this is all I got. |
This is DOWNSTREAM from the dam. It is on the Osage River, and this water is tiny, nearly not moving, even has moss on its surface. |
 Cute shop name... |
We ran out of time before we made it to the INSIDE, or tour area of Graceland. I rode out one afternoon and took a few pics after hours. |
Another of the area near the entrance to Graceland. |

We had been having problems with our A/C #3 for several weeks (we have three heat-pump units on the roof - This one was for the back of the RV, where the bedroom is). It would cool, but only "kinda". We had a guy out to do a scan and repair, and he was convinced one of the controller boards was out and needed replacement. He was sure they were all in one location, but for at least two hours, we couldn't find where they were. I posted into a Facebook group, and their suggestion found it! In the panel over the driver's seat. |
 More states today, 9/9/28/25 |
 And another one! |
 And another. |
We went to the annual "Fiddler's Fest" in Decatur, Alabama. This is now Friday, 10/3/25. |
Just a fun place to take a photo! |
 And another. |
Another moonlit night, 10/6/25, in Hope Hull, Alabama. |
 My lovely traveler! |
Having fun with Facebook's invitation to "Create AI Image" |
We had our eye on the coming Florida weather for WEEKS. Like nearly every storm this year, this one went back out Northeast, into the mid-Atlantic. |
Headed back to Seattle for some follow-up medical procedures. Cloud patterns coming close to SeaTac were interesting. |
Not sure what gate they had me coming in on, but the moving walkways were VERY much appreciated. |
I visited a friend in Seattle on Wednesday, 10/29/25. He and his wife live in a VERY nice 55+ property near downtown. We went up to the roof for some great city views. |
More from the rooftop near downtown Seattle. |
Back to Florida. We visited our son and daughter-in-law and grandson for a Halloween festival at one of their neighbors on the bewitching night. The sunset right as the festivities began was really pretty. |
We went on a "Dolphin Boat Tour" on Tuesday, 11/4/25. The weather was spectacular. |
More on the Dolphin Boat Tour. |

Our tour guide on the Dolphin Boat Tour. She was REALLY informative. |
And I think I recognize this couple.... |
We got new iPhones for [early] Christmas this year. I rode over to International Plaza Shopping Center to the Apple Store to pick up the last one. |
We watched our grandson play soccer on Saturday morning 11/15/25. These fellows are EVERYWHERE in Florida. This guy must be about 4 inches long, and was "hiding" in the separated upper vertical support of the surrounding fence. |
We went to the Florida Aquarium in Tampa on Monday, 11/17/25. Huge place, tremendous fun. |
More from the Florida Aquarium. This dude was probably close to a foot and a half long! |
 Just having fun. |
More from the Florida Aquarium. Amazing creature. |
More from the Florida Aquarium. This little dude was probably around half an inch. |
More from the Florida Aquarium. Another little, one-half inch fellow. |
On our way out of the Florida Aquarium. |
We took an almost 100-mile ride down to Venice Beach on Sunday, 11/23/25. Great day for walking the beach, enjoying the views, and looking for sharks' teeth. We found ZERO! |
More views at Venice Beach. |
More views at Venice Beach. |
I was a big fan of "Deadwood" when the series was on cable in 2004 and maybe a year or two after. Until we watched the movie on Saturday, 11/29/25, I never even investigated whether any of the main characters were real people. I mean, I knew the answer for Bill Hickock and Calamity Jane, but this fellow, too! |
Another fellow from the Deadwood series. |
