Here we are from 2/4/24 - 3/4/24 -- We paused for a little less than a week back near Orlando before making our way to Panama City Beach for the rest of February. We've just begun our 2-week stay near New Orleans Louisiana and it is March 4, 2024. Rain all day today! Just thought this was funny. Made it out of the Florida Keys -- It's March 2, 2024 and we're on our way back up to near Orlando, mid-state. Our space at Sun Outdoors RV Park in Panama City Beach, Florida. This must be about February 6, 2024. At Panama City Beach! More near Panama City Beach. Leftover from 2022's Hurricane Ian I expect. What the boat storage spaces USED to look like in the previous picture I bet. Puppies met a fun compatriot at the dog park. The road to the dog park is beautiful, wide and all brick. Exploring the evening karaoke place for later today. This is the "No Name Tavern" in Panama City Beach. Just thought the No Name had an intereting address. It's March 2, 2024 and we're on our way to New Orleans, Louisiana. It is probably about noon, and we're on Interstate 10, which spans all the way to Los Angeles, CA. Nearly to New Orleans now. This is just as we start across Lake Ponchartrain. We are near our destination at Riverboat Travel Park. It is an ugly, ugly park. I'll take some pics for the next update I hope. But it is is really horrible. Even so, we'll stay cuz we're already paid through March 17th. At $580 for 15 days, it is just under $39 per night, including tax and all state add-ons. It's THE cheapist yet. Ugly. It's March 3, 2024 and I'm out exploring New Orleans. This is just outside the "Garden District", and it's about 3 in the afternoon, and about 79 degrees out. Nearly perfect for riding. Looking the other direction while stopped entering the Garden District. Liked this view too. Of course, reminded of my dear Molly-girl. This is on Magazine Street, another place we learned about while checking out itineraries during the drive to New Orleans. Another view on Magazine Street. VERY few of the cross-streets are labeled with signs. But I found one! Remnants of Mardi Gras past I see.... On my way to the French Quarter, I went by this view of downtown New Orleans. The balconies are incredible near the main Mardi Gras route. Getting near the French Quarter and Bourbon Street. Just a block from Bourbon Street now. Bourbon Street. The activity soon would be so insane that I couldn't even stop for another picture. You gotta come see this! It's only the 3rd of March, but with the gorgeous weather and it's Sunday.... INSANE activity -- It was great!! Just showin' off the great internet connectivity with Starlink! It's March 3, 2024 and we just set down at Riverboat Travel Park, just south of New Orleans.
